We know what we should do but it is so difficult to actually put it into Reality with Action. It so comforting to fill our minds with dreams and imagining how wonderful life can be it, but it's another thing to actually get there. Over the last few weeks we have provided you with a lot of valuable information in regards to Dreams to Action to Paradise. Sometimes we tend to overload our circuits with so much information and this is where a key issue is. If we tend to consume ourselves with too much negative information you can image the direction of your life. Whereas if we tend to consume our lives with positive information you can be assured that your life will go in that direction. So do not get discouraged in regards to so much information. It's a form of total submersion. Think in terms of being submerged in a pile of roses (without the thorns). What do you think your fragrance will be as you step out? Overwhelm yourself as an Achiever. You might have discovered different or additional new ways but what is most important is how YOU feel about it and what YOU will DO. Go back to the various weeks of valuable information read the notes again and really put things into action.
Re-evaluate this important statement - What is it that separates those who dream and talk about big things from those that actually take action towards achieving it?
The Problem Most people dream big and know what to do but never do it. Crossing the threshold from dreams to action is so difficult. There appears to be a gigantic gaping chasm between the two. When you can successfully build a bridge to bring the two together you will succeed with your endeavors.
The Solution 1) Enjoy the action - Dreaming big is incredibly enjoyable but that is as far as you will go. As long as you don't like taking action it is very unlikely that your bridge will be built to take you from dreamer to achiever. If you don't like the action necessary to reach your dreams you have two options: a) Change your dreams to something that you would enjoy fulfilling. Maybe it wasn't the right dream. Changing it might be more fulfilling. b) Find a way to enjoy taking the action either by changing how you perceive it or approach it. For example, You realize you need to lose weight so you decide to start a running program. You go out and buy some fancy running shoes, running outfit, etc. You get so excited about the thought of looking better, etc. You feel so wonderful about it. The next morning you get up and run out of the house and barely make it past the first 100 feet. The enjoyable fact just hit the bottom and you decide to go back home, drink your coffee and roll back into your comfortable bed and keep dreaming. Well, you still have the dream and realize well maybe you can still keep the dream and just modify the action required to fulfill your dream. So you decide that walking would be more enjoyable. You go for walks in the park, to the zoo, through the neighborhood waiving at all your friends, etc. Now you get it.
2. There is only now. Think right now and don't delay the action. If your dreams don't have roots in the present, there cannot be any tree in the future. Do it right now.
3. Build Momentum - Momentum is simply Habits that you enjoy (read the section and follow through with - "Build Power Habits"). Build habits and momentum to match the action consistent. Momentum is your speed, Enjoyment is the amount of friction. If you don't enjoy the action your are taking, it will be like rubbing against sandpaper and you will lose momentum quickly and steadily. Don't create a bunch of habits that you will have to do.
Recommendations for the week - This will be challenging. Take the above Problem and Solution from above and explain it to three people you really care about TODAY. Another Action Step, watch the video to the right. Let go of everything on your mind, everything, completely let go of it all. Turn up the volume when no one is around. Become total immersed with the video and the music with it. How does it make you feel? How can you trigger these feeling? Are you on the Love Train or are you just watching it go by? All Aboard, it's time to get on and hold on for the ride of your Life. Get in the habit of feeling good everyday and right now. What things make you feel good?
